Dr. Meredith's journey began at Clemson University, where she cultivated her intellectual roots, ultimately graduating with a strong foundation in Animal Sciences. She then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where her commitment to the well-being of animals flourished.
Professionally, Dr. Meredith's interests encompass integrative veterinary medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, animal rehabilitation and internal medicine. Her holistic approach to animal care, alongside her expertise in various specialties, makes her a well-rounded veterinarian dedicated to the well-being of her furry patients.
Her family life is as vibrant as her professional journey. She is a loving mother to two wonderful daughters, fostering their curiosity and nurturing their love for the world's creatures. Their household is further enriched by two remarkable three-legged feline friends, Noodles and Sharona, two playful canine companions, Foxy and Cholula.
In her precious moments of free time, she revels in outdoor adventures, from the tranquility of paddleboarding to the exhilaration of backpacking. The natural world is her sanctuary, and she finds solace in every step she takes.
Dr. Meredith is so excited to welcome you to the Sunstone Animal Hospital family.
Alexandra started her veterinary career in 2017 at a family owned clinic and graduated from Orange County Veterinary Assistant School in 2020 and obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician License in 2023. She ventured on into emergency medicine for quite some time, but missed the close knit "family feel" of the general practice.
In 2021 Alex began managing a surgical practice which transitioned into managing a general practice. Alexandra has been searching for the family feel in veterinary medicine and managed to find just that while she managed a practice alongside Dr. Bronner.
Alex's favorite part of being in veterinary medicine is cultivating a family relationship with clients but most importantly the pets, running diagnostics, medical management, nutrition and how it effects the microbiome, critical care management, and cultivating the best bed side manner for all patient care.
Alex has 3 creatures at home. A dog named Rocky, a cat named Yzma and a turtle named Speedy. In her spare time Alex loves to paint, hike, camp in all types of terrain, and spend time with her loved ones.
Alexandra cannot wait to meet your family and continue to create the family feel she loves so much.
"Hi, I am Kaylee! I started my career in caring for your little ones 5 years ago. I have always had a love for all animals and knew I was in the right place working here.
I have a 6 year old English Bulldog of my own, named Rome and we recently moved to Florida with my boyfriend last year, and added to our family with our first baby girl back in October.
One of our new favorite things to do here is go swimming with our daughter and bulldog!
My plan here at Sunstone is to continue to care for you and your fur babies in whatever you need!"
